You'll be the face of Solstice and the reason someone's morning starts well. Make every drink to our standard and make every guest feel welcome, from the first shot at open to the last matcha of the day.

What you'll do

Pull espresso, steam milk and build every drink to spec
Matcha, drip, cold brew and manual brews
Dial in grinders at open and through the day
Run the Toast register and order-ahead pickup
Opening, mid-shift and closing checklists
Keep the bar, seating and restrooms clean and stocked
Kitchen prep once cross-trained, at the higher rate
A seat on the menu committee: your drink ideas can end up on the board

What we're looking for

1 year of coffee shop experience and a food handler card
Calm when speed and service pull in opposite directions
Passion for specialty coffee and sharpening your craft
Clean, precise and quick to apply feedback
Punctual: early mornings and weekends are the job
18 or older, with reliable transportation to St. John

What we offer

You'll make the food worth coming back for. Build every order hot, fresh and plated or boxed right, and keep the kitchen running smoothly. Our menu is simple on purpose, so there's real room to help shape it.

What you'll do

Morning prep: slicing, portioning, spreads and par levels before open
Build breakfast bagels and sandwiches to spec, every time
Plate dine-in orders and box to-go orders so they travel well
Keep tickets moving with the bar during service
Receive deliveries, rotate stock and flag what's running low
Temp logs, labeling and dating: inspection-ready at all times
Deep cleaning, dish and closing checklists
A seat on the menu committee: your ideas can end up on the board

What we're looking for

1 year of kitchen experience and food handler certification
Calm and quick when the tickets stack up
Clean by habit, not because someone's watching
Consistent: the tenth bagel looks like the first
Punctual: early mornings and weekends are the job
18 or older, with reliable transportation to St. John

Shift Lead runs the bar and holds keys. Manager owns scheduling, ordering and training new hires.

Educators lead our espresso workshops, cuppings and tastings. Cross-train in the kitchen anytime for the higher rate.
